The new Michelin X-Ice Xi3 tire offers improvements in grip and braking on ice and snow compared to its predecessor, the tiremaker said. Michelin launched its all-new X-Ice Xi3 tire, which the company said uses third-generation, winter-grip technology to provide better winter performance than its predecessor.

Nitto Tire USA unveiled its new "active all-season UHP tire," the Motivo, at its booth at the SEMA Show/Global Tire Expo. The Motivo, backed by a 60,000-mile limited tread wear warranty, will be available in many 17- through 20-inch sizes with W- or Y-speed ratings.
